We swam in the Queso River (Cheese River) at a place the villagers call La Bruja which means "The Witch". This is the mayor of San Juan de Limay enjoying the water with Molly. La Bruja was a favorite place for folks from Limay to come to escape the grueling heat of the day. Along the rocks there were ancient carvings made by the indigenous people who lived there before the pueblo existed.
