Pocho Mil
We had two fabulous meals while at Pocho Mil. They were both at restaurants along the beach. In both cases we were the only patrons. This evening we had a feast of seafood, rum and beer.
This our only splurge of the trip on the day before we were to head back to Managua to take the flight back to Baltimore.
The restaurant was on the beach under a big cabana roof of leaves.
Flies outnumbered people in Pocho Mil so before we sat down to eat the
owner fumigated everything with some sort of insecticide. Nevertheless, by
the end of the meal they had returned in force and so we kept food and
drink covered as much as possible.
