Liberation Celebration
This man had been a captain in the Sandanista army. He took it as his personal responsibility to keep anyone away from us who bothered us. As the afternoon wore on, however, he got drunker and drunker and we began to feel as if we had seen enough of the revolution celebration. We headed back to try to find a cab to take us back to Quaker House. As we walked through the crowds, throngs of people continued to arrve in anticipation of hearing Daniel Ortega speak.
