| This is the train station at Arenas, just a whistle stop along the deep and mostly deserted valley of the Rio Cabe. We took this route twice as an adventurous trek from one side of the valley to the other. The road across the tracks and up the mountain was the steepest, most frightening car path we had ever seen. Upon crossing the tracks, you had to immediatley make a series of sisty degree turns while the wheels were spinning an grabbing on the loose gravel trying to gain some traction. |
